I have been most pleased to have been introduced to up and coming author Elena May. I have had the pleasure of reading her debut novel, Kingdom of Ashes, that has recently been published and I wanted to do this post so that you would also have the opportunity to learn more about Ms. May.     • Hehe, and you’ll be among the first to read it 😀 Unfortunately, there’s still a lot of work to do before the book is ready — most of it is written, but I still need to add a few scenes. I’m planning a flashback to Prince Vladimir’s past as a human that I haven’t started yet although the whole thing is in my head already!

      I’m thinking about posting some sample chapters in advance before release date, but I can’t decide if I should do that or if it takes away from the reading experience. Maybe the second part of Tristan’s story would be good for this; it’s more standalone and you don’t need to read everything before that to follow.
